The Future of Film is Female and Neon will be giving away 3 financial grants and
2 post-production in-kind service grants from Heard City and Nice Shoes:
3x INDIVIDUAL FINANCIAL GRANTS of $4,000
These grants are for filmmaker projects at any stage of production (pre or post). 3 grants awarded. Supported by NEON.
2x POST-PRODUCTION IN-KIND SERVICE – 1 grant for each award
- Heard City: sound mixing and editing, $16k value
- Nice Shoes: color correction, $20k value
Submission Details:
The Spring 2025 Short Film Fund will offer grants to women and nonbinary LA-based filmmakers making a short film in the city.
Submissions open on April 18th and will run until May 2nd or until they reach 400 submissions, whichever comes first.
