When you hit a roadblock, get writer's block, or get stuck on something you're working on, how do you refresh yourself creatively to move past it?

Excellent question! I have a couple go-to ways to refresh myself both mentally and physically. Take a walk, write in my journal, sing some songs (there are many concerts put on my living room that get the day dreaming going), doing things around the house like laundry, meal prep, that type of thing. Basically I just find that if I break the pattern of whatever I'm doing at the time of feeling stuck, I have a better chance to break through. I listened to an episode of Modern Love today that actually touched on this a little bit, you really need to feel the feels to allow yourself to get to the other side - I really felt that.
