what is the need to mentor to the current generation of costume stitchers to teach tailoring and advanced sewing techniques among union crew.

they must be taught.
Some of the generations coming up don’t even read to their kids.
We’re going to lose all the skills one by one, so, yeah, they must be taught lest the thing breaks or is not made well.1
