The incredible box office (and streaming) success of Ryan Coogler’s Sinners proves that audiences want original ideas from historically excluded storytellers — and that they’re willing to pay for them.

    I love to see original films like this buck the trend and carve their own path! Agreed, audiences are hungry for new stories and new perspectives that leave them thinking. Coogler is one of the best at that.
