Great New Indie Film on the Horizon! The Baltimorons
I saw this trailer (plus early reviews) and it's already moved to the top of my list as one of my most anticipated films of the year (along with One Battle After Another). That's saying something considering I recognize none of the actors in this one, and it looks like it was shot pretty low-budget, but there's something so authentic and vulnerable that just sings through the few minutes of footage that already has me hooked. Goes to show how much you can accomplish with a film when you strike the right chord and mine something genuine for audiences to enjoy (I'm also a big fan of the Duplass brother's mumblecore style). Will be nice to get another alternative holiday movie to add to the collection next to The Holdovers. Anyone else here a Duplass brothers fan?
