This isn't quite advice I've received but something I've learned. Never stop exploring what interests you. I started out in nursing before moving to the entertainment industry. I've been a production accountant for 12 years but have been leaning into my love for writing and am working on my first novel.

this was from one of my first construction bosses but he liked to say its not worth losing a finger over. like dont rush or cut corner to meet a deadline. kind of like safety first. when i feel like i got to rush to finish building a set i try to remember its not worth losing a finger.
