While most film festivals only come around once a year, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles has a monthly festival of shorts, documentaries, and feature films made by diverse and emerging filmmakers from around the world, followed by Q&A sessions with each filmmaker. Each festival has a distinct focus ranging from LGBTQ+, Latin, and Black cinema to topics like immigration, disability, and international animation. There's something of interest for everyone here.Â
