One more worth adding to this reading list — Ted Hope's Hope For Film Substack. Same diagnosis, different altitude. Kendall is talking about the street, the monoculture piece is talking about the audience, and Ted is talking about the industry itself — all three pointing in the same direction: the old model is gone, and what replaces it gets built smaller, closer to the creators, and closer to the audience that actually shows up.
