ReelWorks is partnering with IATSE Local 161 to launch an intensive 15-session training program to prepare rising Production Accounting Professionals in New Jersey with the essential skills needed to transition successfully to work as 2nd Assistant Accountants or Assistant Payroll Accountants in the entertainment industry.
There is no fee for this program. Each trainee is paid a stipend during the training.

Who is the program for?
A 2nd Assistant Production Accountant supports the accounting department in maintaining financial records during film and television production, including managing accounts payable.
Assistant Payroll Accountant supports the payroll functions for film and television production, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with regulations.
Program eligibility rules:
All participants must:
- Be at least 21+years old
- Eligible to work in the US
- Must be a NJ Resident
- Not enrolled in full-time education
- Must have relevant production experience with exposure to accounting on a TV Show, Feature Film, or similar project
- Must have proficient computer skills, including spreadsheets and Word documents
