Aloha, I have worked in the film industry since 2008, as a Marine Coordinator, Picture Boat Coordinator, Rigging Grip, Grip and Prop Maker. Projects that include White Lotus, Red One, NCIS HAWAII, Magnum PI, Live Action Moana, Protecting Jared, Temptation Island, and Untammed Season 2 just to name a few. WE have incredibly skilled workers HERE especially in our Mixed Local 665 IATSE. We are full of talent, love and ALOHA. This past year 2026 we had an instant flury of Productions, all at once. From nothing to February 2026, Jumanji, Protecting Jared, and Untamed Season 2. My brothers and Sisters stood tall. I can not brag enough about all of the Talented Local Skilled Professionals that are here on the Islands and can not only do the work, professionally, but also take on INSANE conditions on locations. All three film productions this year got hit hard by not 1 but 2 KONA Storms that left us with 24inches of rain, on sets. My thing is to encourage any and all film productions considering Hawaii as location to film. If anyone has any questions about filming on Hawaii, I would love to answer them and lead your project, to the best of the best in every department. We are now awaiting the next project to land, alot of coconut wireless going on right now, a few productions are starting to get going.
