Hello, I am a licensed CPA in NY & GA (currently live in Atlanta) looking to get into production accounting. I have some content accounting experience working at Netflix but looking to get into production accounting. I like accounting and enjoy the entertainment space. I am willing to learn from square 1 but really unsure as to how to proceed and where do i go to apply for roles. Also, looking to connect 1:1.

Hi, is the Production Accounting 101 course can apply to Canada production? Just noticed course is written for US audiences. Thanks!

Hi Helen! The principles in the Production Accounting 101 course can be applied to Canadian productions, except a few items, mostly verbiage:
- Mentions of state and federal should become a territory or Canadian-specific "provincial and federal."
- The Form W-4 should be translated to the T4 or T4A. The Form I-9 isn't applicable since it's required for employees working in the United States.
- Social Security Numbers would be referred to as Social Insurance Numbers.
Note: this isn't an all-inclusive list.
