Scripted PA here - how can I get into animation?
Hello fellow crew,
I'm a veteran industry assistant having worked a good share of unscripted sets and scripted offices. But my big goal is to break into animation. I've had a few interviews for things like American Dad and Rick and Morty but no luck being hired.
What advice could you give to someone like me who has a decent resume in production for breaking into animated world?

It's tough for everyone to get jobs at the moment, especially in animation. It seems live action is ramping up more quickly than animation. In the meantime, reach out to editors, fellow assistants, etc. Meet and greets, go out for coffee. These are all great spots to be in. I hope that helps!
