A group of 86 producers responsible for generating the lion’s share of film and TV in Hollywood have banded together to form Producers United to essentially fight for the rights of independent "career producers" — those whose allegiance is solely to the project and who work unpaid, without healthcare, and who routinely see their fees whittled away even in success. The crazy ones who gamble even when the house makes it less and less possible to win no matter how great your hand is.

Will the studios listen?
