Award winning French American screenplay looking for Investors/Co-producers.
Hi, I'm new to this platform. We have a great feature film project ongoing that just received the 2025 Best Feature Screenplay Award by Chicago Screenwriter from Chicago Script Awards. Why Chicago? 'Cause I live in the Chicago area. I'm French and this movie will be shot 90% in France and 10% in USA, 100% in English. The main cast list will be made of 1 American A list Actor and 2 French A list actors. The film is designed for all audiences and will have a budget range around $5M. Worldwide distribution.
My question is: What is the best way to attract new partners through this specific platform?

That's a good question, Jean Michel— posting as you did in the Producer's group at this point is probably the best as the platform and membership grows. I see that you are also on Slated— can I ask if you are finding it helpful?

Thank you very much, Corey. I know how to write and make a movie but it's a premiere for me to work on the packaging aspect. Our US producer is working 24/7 on the production of feature films abroad so waiting for her to come back and join the battle, I try to make things move. This is a great project from A to Z, a real "BIG SCREEN" feature film with a solid and fun international Cast list within the budget of an Indie movie. French locations are amazing and Taxe incentives are very welcoming.
To answer your question, Yes Slated was very useful at the beginning, the way they grade people's professional experiences isn't the most fair. I worked on over 100 films as a camera operator and directed 12 TV series episodes in France and I'm a grade 8 Dude on their website. You'll find notation way higher for young people who just worked recently on short films. People at Slated are great, always very responsive and they allowed me to meet Karla Torres, our producer. I thank them for that.
