Apprenticeship Program
Responding to the substantial shortage of qualified production accountants Entertainment Partners has developed a Production Accounting Apprenticeship Program. Designed to offer members of underrepresented communities expert-curated training courses and mentoring on production accounting and EP’s production finance solutions, the Apprenticeship Program will help meet studio needs for entry-level payroll clerks or production accountant roles.
The pilot program will be based in California, with the goal to eventually grow nationwide, focusing on helping to create paths to employment in production hubs across the country for people in underserved communities.
EP’s Apprenticeship Program
Apprenticeship Program participants will enroll in a series of classes in the EP Academy. Developed with input from entertainment industry professionals, the program of curated courses is built to ensure that participants are equipped with a knowledge base that prepares them for an opportunity for a studio-based paid apprenticeship in production accounting or payroll accounting.
EP’s program includes 18 hours of self-paced professional course instruction, as well as access to mentoring from EP’s team of industry experts.
In addition to the coursework, participants will be supported with
Mentoring from EP’s industry experts
Attending a live Q&A with course instructors
A private webinar with EP’s financial solutions experts.
EP is in the process of selecting a studio partner for the pilot program. Upon successful completion of the Program, interested and available candidates will be presented to the Studio partner for evaluation and potential hiring for an apprentice position.
